This is my attempt at writing a hymn style poem..

On The Right

I narrowly escaped the fate,
that practiced sinner meet
a rough path trod but oh I hate,
the broad road wide and neat.

I heard Gods voice and I'm just stunned,
with my lack of fear of God,
but every morning rises his son,
I welcome his staff and rod.

Praise you Lord of Hosts
Wondrous King of Kings
Faithful and True
How I love you

So now the hopeless have a hope,
for Gods ways astound the wise,
this simple path that's how to cope,
Oh lost you're now a prize.

Lord Jesus one I barely know,
that means my love's still small,
but toward the Father you'll guide I'll  grow,
and go and grow so tall.

ChorusOnce Heaven's opened I will see,
the why the who the how,
great works of Good great friends we'll be,
I'm with Lord Jesus now

And when the end comes by and by,
I'll know it's just the start,
The LORD will wipe the tears I cry,
and heal my sin sick heart

When oceans rage and waves roar,
it's near heaven door,
The prince of Peace Israels King,
He's coming to God we'll sing

The sheep are on his right that day, 
Babylon's on his left.
Enter in my sheep he'll say.
your safe in the rocks cleft
