a poem by me,
Not cancer, flu, cold or blister,
Not my brother nor my sister,
Not my lifetime partner... no,
Not my worst day of woe,
But it's me smart ol' me,
My worst and meanest enemy.

Haiku:
Just think about it,
Peace and joy come from true prayer,
Nothing else ...really.

Title: The Husband The Dad
I never sailed at ship at sea,
I never climbed a mount,
I never ran for miles and miles,
Some fears I won't surmount.

I never parachuted,
Or even bungie jumped,
I never slept out in the open,
Most times I have been stumped.

My adventure is to love you,
That's my ship at sea,
My achievement is to show you God,
A great explorer I'll be.

A Haiku;
By now said the tree,
I should be taller, stronger
Sapling said ..
you are
Appointed times and places I must be,
It's for my good I lovingly comply,
When hard times come I'll never ask God why,
The bad that ever comes is good for me.

The biggest enemy I'll ever see,
It's me, still sin's a difficult deny
It's me. to random comes my smiling eye,
E'en know I am a christian thourghly.

Being in Gods kingdom changes life,
There's plenty faith and hope and love for all,
Kill, destroy and steal will n'er come near,
You rest now be at peace give up the strife
So now prepare for God, I heard HIS call
On Fathers narrow path I will not fear.

And now another venture of prayer,
will start this new new day,
I'm hopeful I can ascend to where,
you are LORD if I may.

Troubles come with no path clear ahead,
I'd like to know, i'd like to know.
But results are the Fathers results,
And repairs are the Father fixes,
So on I go for I heard him.
I remember.

If I forget

If I refrain from looking for the rain,

If I forget to sit and soak some sun,

If that e'er happens I will be the one,

To know my life that day did have no gain.

Forget to smile at you and I look plain,

If I decide in life I haven't won,

I'll know that day I left some tasks undone,

I'll backtrack off that horrible path if Vain.

A thankful outlook is a treasure great,

The ones have this have a hope, a rock.

These full wise hearts have joy beyond their years,

Though trouble comes it ne'er will change their state.

I often look and take my fruitful stock,

Of joy or sadness what creates my tears?

Somewhere Between

I have the rightousness of Christ,
The fullness I'll have some day
HIS rightousness freely priced,
Oh fill me Father ..yay

But it seems somewhere between holy and depraved I sit..
Somewhere between glory and sin I run my marathon..
The great fan club i had is gone,
the only member me ...is not any more.
Sill I thank God and I give HIM my gift
Tenacity.

Why play make-believe?
You are what you'll grow to be,

King and Priests

a poem: In my free hymn style. The first four verses in a 3 , 4 pentameter, hymn style rhyming as you can. And the last 5 or 6 lines in a free style with a one or two word ending sentence

In my mind I am a King,
With honor, integrety.
I stride through life with joy I sing,
Praising Gods soveriegnty.

But when I begin to look,
and then I see actually,
It seems I am thwrated and foiled.
But I do know who I am not:
I am not a devourer and loser.
I win.

A haiku:
I remember not,
The true beauty once beheld,
Cycle of forget.

This is a free hymn poem, a style I made up...
We love you LORD with all our heart,
But we must now confess,
We see you dimely only in part,
a miracle a mystery sucess.

I often wonder how this can happen,
We know we belong with the Father,
And surely we know the Father only in part,
Yet we love HIM so much,
This is only one of Heavens great treasures.
Just wait.

haiku: What I learned....
HE pulls all the strings,
And HE can hide very well,
Even when HE 's found.

‎2:30 am haiku;
Sleep has sped away,
Wakeful with a thankful in heart,
God is good INDEED.

Look beyond this day oh man with joy,
You actions now will reap to you the truth,
How did you love and heal the old the youth?
You think your joy will change oh wonder boy?

One of the only things we can take out of this life is our character. Treat it as your treasure, my fruits of the ground.

the permanent vacation;

An empty house no people flies or fleas,

The dishes they get done in minutes now,

My dinner is still cooked for three, somehow,

I'm happy 'cause my hearts near redwood trees.

It's spring now where I live but Oh deep freeze,

There is a coldness here a sacred cow,

To bluntness full of lies they'll all kowtow,

To meet one full of love is a rare fresh breeze.

My Dad had tried for years to prosper here,

I finally get the message years to late,

If struggle is our lot I'll go to where,

The hand of God made beauty to endear,

East side Detroit no more I'll take your bait,

In Redwoods I will sing The LORDS good Prayer.

My noisy silence,
tells me I am not perfect,
I'm so noisy, shhhh

A poem from Pslam 17

What do I hold in high esteem and treasure?
And is it right to make this valuable?
and should this wond'rus thing make my life full?
Oh did I build a lie filled life of pleasure?

You see my belly's full I have some leisure,
My children satisfy my life's not dull,
I'll pass on stuff and that's commendable.
My portion in this life is of good measure.

King David said that he'll be satisified,
when he awakes- his likeness is like HIS,
He'll see the righteousness upon Gods face,
I think a greater goal no man has tried,
so off I go to change my goal to this,
to Dwell under HIS wings, be filled with grace.
