The Christian

It is the best decision one can make,
begin each morning;start a brand new day.
A gift another chance, past flee away,
don't even visit Mr. pasts old wake.

If you just woke this morning bake a cake.
And celebrate and laugh and maybe play,
another chance you have, yippee yay!,
to grow in love for God and praise and pray.

You see we're creatures of eternity.
We'll live for ever ever and then some more.
Our Father don't make junk not a bit.
So get yourself together for you see,
though your body's wore and tore and sore
The treasure is your bond with God don't quit

My Simple Song

I think I'll begin again,
I think I'll try again,
As I have a thousand times before,
Sure I'll fail but in a million years,
I'll still be on this road,
Walking along singing a song.

Not many are like me,that have fail plenty,
But I vowed to try and try and try,
I'll walk with God the best I can
On this road this road,
Walking along, singing a song.

When you see me walk on by,
Just know I'm giving it a try,
I'm smiling and hopeful in my mind,
I may not feel this way,
But I'm walking this rough road
Limping along. singing a new song.

Cause I heard his voice one day,
He assured me he's the way
He assured me He's the truth and the life.
Just by the depth of his voice
I know I'll always be on this road,
Jogging along singing his new song.

a sonnet for Antonette

My song of Antonette:
When I imangine blessed Mary I,
Can see that she would have to be so great
She would have to raise HIM t'was her fate,
Her love and wisdom one ne'er can deny.

I see another MARY in my minds eye,
She knows just when to act and when to wait,
Her love and wisdom wins she's ne'er irate,
My daughters talent's high as the wondrus sky.

I know the hand of God is on Anns life,
She has great peace, she shines HIS hope to all,
When she's around all things will turn out fine,
She'll make a blessed mother blessed wife,
She has great love for family that's her call,
Gods ways in Ann they perfectly entwine.
