oil limericks

There was a big oil leak,

It went on for more than a week,

They dispursed the oil,

Causing nature to spoil,

Now I think our out look may look bleak.

whats the little fishes gonna do?

the're looking for food in goo,

I guess they'll die.

bye little fishies bye,

your neighborhood turned black from blue,

There was an oil spill,

It came from a long long drill

But the must have forgot

A spill it is not,

WAKE UP it's not the time to chill

there could a hurrician that is black,

and it could be right on track,

to rain on our lakes,

we can't afford mistakes

this is oil we have to attack!

there was an avenger named God,

who in his wisdom gave angels a nod,

let the gulf now turn black,

cause true leadership they lack,

their wisdom is all a facade.

there is one that knows what to do,

he has the right break through,

but he's not in charge,

so this gush will get large,

I say find him this man and his crew.

The president, he is a smart man

He doing what ever he can

He has a clue,

About what to do,

There was once a country with hope

But they drilled the continental slope,

The equiptment got broke

There was oil and smoke,

Now this country can't cope

There was some oil from BP

Somehow it leaked in the sea,

"Who cares we're still rich,

This is just a small glitch",

said the men in charge with glee.

There once was a people that played,

They hardly ever prayed,

The big leak got bad,

Most never got sad,

In their happy little world they stayed.

Some on the coast could not work,

Cause this oil thing went berserk,

They were sad they were mad,

Oh and this was bad,

BP's shareholders ne'er lost their smirk
